I am looking at the Ham family, specifically Burton Richard Ham and his relationships.

Rebecca was born to John Rader and Elizabeth Taylor in May 1853.

On the 1860 census, she is living with her aunt Catherine Taylor Collins and Catherine’s husband George Collins. This is where Rebecca gets the Collins from her name.

In 1867, Catherine marries Willet Ham.

On 17 Mar 1869 Rebecca marries a man named Burton P Ham according to the Indiana Marriage collection Book 5 Page 124.

On 9 Jun 1870, Rebecca is living with the Campbell family as a servant in Richland, Greene, Indiana.

Burton Richard Ham and Barton P Ham seem like an easily mistaken transcription error or perhaps a naming similarity in thinking they may be connected somehow.

Catherine’s husband was brother to Burton Richard Ham.

Also Rebecca's grandmother was married to Lawson Ham.
