Frank was born in Kremsier, Moravia, Austria (present day Kromeriz, Czechia) on 9 Feb 1895.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10] His father came to Texas in 1903, while Frank arrived a few months later in 1904 along with his mother, Joseph, Fanny, and Thomas.[3][5][11] Frank served in the U.S. Army during World War I[8][9][12] and was registered for the draft during World War II.[10] He married Henrietta Zavodny on 24 Sep 1935.[13][14] They had four children: Henrietta "Retta", Frank, Jr "Frankie",[15] Lydia,[16] and Thomas.[17] Frank died on 31 Jan 1973.[18][19][20][21][22]
