Moses was born in 1800. Moses Stubblefield's parentage is assumed to be

Moses Stubblefield married to Franky McWilliams on April 17, 1823. They were married in Davidson Township of Lawrence County, Arkansas, USA

Moses was enumerated in the 1840, Columbia, Randolph, Arkansas census with a large family, possibly his parents. His neighbours were his sister, Thenah Looney, and many McDaniels[1]

Frances died September 11, 1849. Moses Stubblefield is listed in the 1850 Randolph, Arkansas census as widowed, born in Tennessee and some of his children living with him.[2] He is surrounded by his supposed siblings (some born in North Carolina) and their families in Randolph - Feilding Stubblefield, Absolom Stubblefield, Coleman Stubblefield, perhaps his sister, Dorcas Bailey and the family from his deceased sister, Thena Stubblefield Looney.
