Biography
Maud, niece of Thomas le Waleys, Bishop of St. David's (1248-55]. The Bishop gave his niece, in free marriage to John de Roche, the manor of Eglwyscwmmin, held of Sir Guy de Bryan. [1]

If her birth date, marriage date and date of the birth of her daughter, Elizabeth are correct, Maud was 50 when she married Thomas and 63 when Elizabeth was born. Thomas, her husband was 26 years younger. None of this seems to fit.
