Biography

John McCord died young.
John was born in September 1847 in McLean County, Illinois. He passed away in September 1850 at the age of about three years.[1]

John was the son of William Martin McCord Jr. (1815 - 1887) and Elizabeth (Hinthorn) McCord (1816 - 1879).

In 1850, John was two years old and living with his family in Tazewell, Illinois. He had three older siblings. His father was a farmer. Information from the census report:
