Audrey Arbuthnot Paterson was born on 26 April 1904 in Patea, Taranaki, her father, John, was 29, and her mother, Gertude DAVIDSON, was 22. She had two brothers and two sisters. She died, a spinster in 1976 in Hamilton New Zealand at the age of 72.
