Yes sir. (Here certificate produced a Certificate #922,015 James H. Jackson 1st Sergeant Company "D" 54 Regiment and Company "B" 55 Regiment Massachusetts Colored Volunteer Infantry dated December 31, 1901.)

I first got my pension under Cleveland's administration where I was at Benton Harbor Michigan - I first got $6 - then $8, $10 - then 12, in December 1901 - I have been paid from Indianapolis and Detroit. Have been paid twice from Washington D.C. Agency, I now have war Voucher
