My folks always called me "Jim Jackson." Sometimes boys would call me Henry or "Hen" Jackson. I did not tell that examiner my full and correct name was "William Henry Jackson" - I was always called "Jim Jackson" by my folks and in the army at roll call I was always called just "Jim Jackson."

Question. You have made so many different statements about your name, now just tell me the plain truth - in order to get your service correct if possible - what was your full and correct name before you enlisted?

Answer. My full name before I enlisted was just Jim Jackson - there was no Henry to it - and no William to my name. I will raise my right hand and swear to it (claimant here raises his
