I never saw Jerry Vaughn or Jim Wilson after I came out of army - and never have since heard anything about them - They might

Surgeon - we only had one doctor with the regiment I was in.

I was wounded in both hands at Honey Hill in army at same time. gun shot wounds - back of left hand and palm of right hand and wrist. Thomas Holland B.J.23 and Sergeant Pinkney B.J.26 I think were in same company with me - I do not know whether they were in same Company I was in or not but I know they were in the same Regiment I was in - I do not know of any one else who was in the same Company I was in.

I can not remember the names of any other comrades in the same Company I was in in the army.

I can not refer to anyone who could testify from personal knowledge that they knew me while I was in the army.

I was never convicted of any crime and never served in any jail or prison.

Yes it seems like I knew a Sergeant in my Company named James H. Jackson but I am not positive and don't know much about him. I could not describe him. I described a fellow I thought was him.

I lived in Toledo Ohio before I ever went to Chicago Illinois and I first applied for pension in Toledo Ohio - In Chicago Illinois I went to see Lawyer Williams only once about applying for a pension for me but don't know whether he did so or not. I never asked for a pension under name of William Jackson.

I did have the "clap" bad in the army it turned from the "clap" to the "pock" and I was treated for it by Dr. Black who was the doctor with the Regiment I was with. I guess he was our Regimental
