By 2012 many of the tombstones were becoming very difficult to read. Bill and Edward Pool undertook a restoration projected. Bill and Edward, with help from numerous family members including Bill Armistead, Ruth Moore, Brian and Merideth Pool, Joe Pool, Maryann and Marcus Stephens, and others.
The graveyard was cleaned up, a detailed layout was made to document the location of all known graves, and supplimental granite stones were added so that future generations could be able to read the inscriptions.
A historical marker was added listing James and Ursula Pool and the our first SC generation and listing William Hudson Pool and family.
