Richard T Weston and wife

The photo was emailed to pfleroux by a member of her family. pfleroux grew up in Elizabeth City, and communicates with a few of the descendants still living there; she is a granddaughter of Daisy Belle Weston. The photo has been confirmed by one of Daisy Belle's daughter's( pfleroux's Aunt Helen.) Daisy Belle Weston, married Caleb D. Ferrell. Daisy Belle was the youngest sister of James Columbus Weston (Sr.) who was my husband's grandfather. Helen also identified the photo of William John Weston, consistent with the signature "W.J. Weston" on the back of that photo postcard, which was also consistent with the identical signature on his brother, James C. Weston's marriage certificate. Helen also remembered that she had an Uncle Jim (James C. Weston), clearing up questions pfleroux had about his existence. His 1884 birthdate was after the 1880 census, the 1890 census was lost, then by the 1900 census he had apparently already left home as he was age 16 that year, and was known to have done machinist apprenticeship(s), likely outside Elizabeth City.
