Thayer-2975 and Thayer-21 do not represent the same person because: John & Mary (Roberts) Thayer had three sons named John. As was custom, when a child died, the next birth of the same sex was named for the one who died.

John I Thayer (1557-1578) John II Thayer (1561-1562) John III Thayer (1563-1601)

Thayer-2975 and Thayer-21 appear to represent the same person because: Following confirmation that Thayer-2975 is the son of John Thayer and Mary (Unknown) this profile appears to be a duplicate of Thayer-21. Please merge into details on Thayer-21 with death date removed, as it is not correct. Thank you.

Thayer-4451 and Thayer-21 appear to represent the same person because: Please be sure to merge into and accept the information in Thayer-21. There are many errors online and elsewhere on the Thayer line. Thayer-21 has been reviewed for accuracy.
