Biography

Martha /Loomis/^[1] was born in Westfield, Massachusetts, 24 Feb 1704, daughter of William3 Loomis (Samuel2, Joseph1) and Martha Morley. She died in Canaan, Connecticut 30 April 1804.

She married (1) Jonathan Phelps.

Children include:

1. Eunice

On 15 Feb 1758 in Simsbury, Connecticut.^[2][3] she married (2) Jonathan Buttolph, sergeant and physician, as his third wife,

Martha and Jonathan had many children and it would seem that more than two died the same day they were born. There is a handwritten record of the family at this Ancestry citation.
