On 2 October 1811 she married Ezekial Owen in Huntsville, Madison County, Mississippi Territory (today it is in Alabama).[1][2] They raised nine children: Elizabeth, Jane, James Robert, John Robert, Mary Elizabeth, Hirsch Ezekial, William Edward, Sophie Margaret and Sarah A.
Ezekial died of cholera in November of 1849 in Vicksburg, Warren County, Mississippi while returning from a business trip. Volley Ann died in November of 1868 in Hills Prairie, Bastrop County, Texas.[2]
