Biography
The daughter of John Osgood and Mary (Clement) Osgood, Lydia Osgood was born in Andover, Massachusetts in 1661.[1][2] She married James Frye, marrying in Andover on January 20, 1679[3][4] and having ten known children together, including:
- FRIE, James, s. James and Lydia, Dec. 23, 1682.
- FRIE, Joseph, s. James and Lydia, Nov. 11, 1687. [5]
- FRIE, Lydia, d. James and Lydia, Feb. 10, 1680.
- FRIE, Phoebe, d. James and Lydia, Mar. 29, 1693.
- FRIE, Sarah, d. James and Lydia, Feb. 27, 1684.[6]
- FRIE, Timothy, s. James and Lydia, Feb. 17, 1688-9.
- FRIE, Timothy, s. Samuel and Sarah, May 8, 1735.[7]
Lydia Frye passed away at the age of 51 and is buried at the Old North Parish Burying Ground in North Andover, Massachusetts.[8][9][10]
