Biography
Mary Jane Miller was born in Mill Creek, Kentucky on January 2, 1816. She was the daughter of Thomas Miller and Jemmimah Hicks.
Polly married George Morris in 1836.
Polly died in Grayson County, Texas on April 17, 1879, and was buried in Morris Cemetery, Grayson County.[1]

- Mill Creek is located Near Tompkinsville in what is now Monroe County, but Monroe County was only formed in 1820, out of portions of Barren County and Cumberland County. To be certain which county Mill Creek was located in at the time of Annie's birth, we'd need to find a map or other record of the boundaries between Barren County and Cumberland County in 1816.[2]
