Mary Dormer was born around 1555 at Ethorp (since spelt Eythrope), Buckinghamshire. [1][2][3]

Marriage & Children

She married 1st, circa 1573, Anthony Brown (1552–1592) [4][5]

Thence 3 sons and 3 daughters:

  1. Anthony, 2nd Viscount Montague

  5. Jane
  6. Katherine

In reference to tombs of the Dormer family: "On the front of the tomb are the coats of Dormer impaling Browne, for Robert (afterwards Sir Robert) Dormer, of St. John impaling Dormer, for John Lord St. John of Bletsoe, who married Katherine Dormer, and of Browne impaling Dormer, for Anthony Browne, who married Mary Dormer. "[6]

She married 2nd, after 29 Jun 1592, Sir Edmund Uvedale. No issue.
