Biography

The Rev. Timothy Woodbridge, son of the Rev. John Woodbridge (VI), and Mercy (Dudley) Woodbridge, was born in Barford St Martin, Wiltshire, England, on 13 Jan 1655/6.^[1]

His father had sailed from England to Andover, Massachusetts, married Mercy Dudley (daughter of Thomas Dudley, Governor of Massachusetts), and after the birth of their first two children, the family went back to England, where Timothy and some of his siblings were born.

The Rev. Timothy Woodbridge, the son of the Rev. John W. Woodridge , was ordained 18 November 1685 in Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut^[2]

The Rev. Timothy Woodbridge died on 30 Apr 1732 in Connecticut Colony.^[3]
