• Samuel, in1675, served in Moseley's Company during King Phillip's War.
• He carried the rank of Captain.
• In 1678 he was a Freeman.
• In 1714 he moved from Dedham, MA to Windham, CT. and then in 1716 to Lebanon, CT.
• In 1719 he was a member of the General Court
