Nehemiah Banks was born on 10 October 1786 in Ridgefield, Fairfield County, Connecticut.^[1][2] He was the son of Nehemiah Banks and Sarah Sherwood.^[1][2]

Nehemiah died on 5 October 1813 in Ridgefield, Fairfield, Connecticut.^[3][4][5] He was 26 years old. He was buried in October 1813 in Titicus Cemetery (also known as Ridgefield Cemetery or Olde Town Graveyard), Ridgefield, Fairfield County, Connecticut.^[3][4][5]
