Captain Samuel Titus served with 12th Regiment, New Hampshire Militia during the American Revolution.

Samuel was made a Captain at town meeting in 1772. He was commissioned Captain in the Continental Army Sep 5 1775, 7th Company (Bath), 12th Regiment of Foot, Colony of New Hampshire. ^{[citation needed]}
