Biography

Anne Saunders was born about 1528, daughter of William Saunders and his wife, second wife, Dorothy Young. [1]

She married Nicholas Beaumont, son of Richard Beaumont [1]and his wife, Collet Clerke. They had four sons including Henry [2] [3]and Thomas. [4]

Anne died in 1582. [2]

It seems from the dates of Anne Saunders-588 who married Stephen Cope cannot be the same as the Anne Saunders-3236 who married Nicholas Beaumont. Dates given for the Copes do not fit in with the dates for the Beaumonts at all. There is no mention in his biography that Anne Saunders wife of Nicholas Beaumont was a widow. Propose that this Anne Saunders be detached from both the father and the Beaumonts.
