I have a William Major Barnett that matches all your info except: "Kentucky births and christening" on familysearch.org shows his birthdate as nov 1854. Also, I believe the "Suia" you have as a sibling is my Solomon D. Barnett, also found as Sol and Saul. If this is the same William, he was born in Raleigh, Union, Kentucky and died in Chico, Wise, Texas.
