John and Sarah Walcher Harkey and their children came to Montgomery Co IL and purchased 161.4 acres on 30 Dec 1830. Also coming at the same time were Martin & Christina Harkey and their families - relationship has not been proved. The Blackwelder and Barringer families also traveled with this group.
