Biography

James Fish, the son of Samuel and Sarah (Dimmock) Fish, was born in 1771^[1] and baptized on 03 October 1781.^[2]

He married Abigail Hatch after intentions were published in Falmouth on 26 May 1798.^[3][4]

James died on 15 August 1826 aged 55 years,^[1][5] and was buried in the Forestdale Cemetery in Sandwich, Barnstable County.^[6][7] His widow died on 12 April 1848 in Sandwich.^[3]

James and Abigail (Hatch) Fish had children recorded in Falmouth Town Records and listed in a "Gardner Bible" recorded in the published Sandwich Vital Records:^[8][9]
