Patrick, born in 1213, was the son of Earl Patrick of Dunbar and Euphemia de Brus.[1] He married (about 1241) Cecilia, a daughter of John fitz Robert of Warkworth and Ada Balliol.[1][2] There were at least three sons from this marriage:
Patrick Dunbar died 24 August 1289 at Whittingham, East Lothian, and was buried at Dunbar.[2]
