Biography

Zacheus Goldsmith, Jr., was born on 7 April 1701, at Wenham in the Province of Massachusetts Bay. He was the son of Zacheus Goldsmith and Martha Hutton.^[1]

Zacheus married Tabitha Dodge, daughter of William and Prudence Dodge, on 14 Dec 1724, at Wenham.^[2]

Zacheus and Tabitha had one child, a son named William, who was born 8 Oct 1725.^[3]

Tabitha Dodge Goldsmith died on 8 Nov 1726.^[4]

On 15 May 1729, Zacheus married Mehitable Kimball, daughter of Caleb Kimball and Sarah Safford, at Wenham.^[5]

Zacheus and Mehitable had nine children, six of whom lived to be registered by name in Wenham:
