Biography

When Jasper Newton Smith was born on May 28, 1850, in McMinn, Tennessee, his father, Buford Smith, was 24 and his mother, Eliza Jane Lemons, was 20. He had two daughters with Mary Fanata Chrane between 1906 and 1909. He died on October 6, 1914, in Texas, at the age of 64, and was buried in Callahan, Texas.
