My g-g-grandmother Sarah Runnels Barton (1824-1905) was the daughter of Wm. Barton (1788-1840) and Hannah Oliphant (1787-c1883), of TN. She m. James T. Chamberlain (1809-1889) in Johnson Co., MO, in 1841. She was b. in Jefferson Co., TN, moved with her parents to MO in 1839, and on to TX in 1849, where she lived in Travis and Karnes counties and, after the Civil War, in Williamson, Burnet and Caldwell counties. She and husband James Chamberlain were the parents of 9 children, one of whom d. in infancy.
