Biography

Louise Hedwig Vogelsang was born 18 Apr 1874, in Kolmar, Posen, Prussia, the daughter of August Julius Vogelsang and Auguste Matilde Amalie Priebe ^[1]

She immigrated to New York City, arriving 27 Feb 1891. ^{[2] [3]} She was followed to New York City by her brothers Ernst Arthur in 1897, and Franz Wilhelm and Fritz Heinrich, in 1908 together on the same ship.

She was married 10 Mar 1895, in the Bronx, New York, to Frank Joseph Reitmeier. ^[4]

They had 3 children:

- Margaret Reitmeier b.1906 ^[7]
