Biography

Jane Puleston was the daughter of Rowland Puleston, son of Sir John Puleston by his first wife Gaenor ferch Robert ap Marchudd^[1] and Annes ferch Rowland Griffith by his first wife Annes ferch Morus.^[2]

Jane Puleston married Sir Thomas Johnes of Abermarlais, Sheriff of Carmarthenshire, son of Harry Jones, Knt., and Elizabeth Herbert, daughter of Matthew Herbert and his wife Mary Gamage, daughter of Thomas Gamage and Margaret St John.^[3]

Sir Thomas and Jane (Puleston) Jones had eight children:^[4]
