Biography

Ann Jones was a daughter of John and Ann Jones of Waterford Township.

In her father's 1727 will, her married name is not given.^[1] She was named as "Ann Shute" in her mother's will, dated May 13, 1733.^[2]

Ann Jones married William Shute, Sr.^{[citation needed]} They were members of the Moravian Church.

Death and Legacy

Ann Shute is buried at the Moravian Church of Oldman's Creek, Swedesboro, New Jersey.^[3] "Ann Shute the Widow of William Shute senr was buried Decr 5th, 1766."^[4]
