Wrighteous Luna was born about 1815 in Tennessee.

The 1850 U.S. Census for Marshall, Marshall County, Tennessee, finds the following family: Wright Luna, male, white, age 35; Clarisy Luna, female, age 35; Harriet Luna, female, age 17; Elisabeth Luna, female, age 15; Emaline Luna, female, age 14; Rany C. Luna, female, age 13; Adaline Luna, female, age 10; Eliza Luna, female, age 7; Mina Luna, female, age 5; James Luna, male, age 2. Everyone in the family was born in Tennessee.

Wright Luna died in 1881 in Marshall County, Tennessee. He is buried in Sowell Cemetery in Marshall County.
