Elizabeth (Parry) Batte was born in Hampshire, England.
Elizabeth Parry, daughter of Roger and Mary (Crosley) Parry,[1][2] was baptized July 15, 1582, Hinton Ampner, Hampshire.
Elizabeth Parry married Robert Batte on February 7, 1603/4.[1] They had 10 children before he died 16 January 1617/8. He was buried Newton Tony, Wiltshire. Elizabeth was buried 1 August 1633, Birstal parish, Yorkshire.[2]
Douglas Richardson in Magna Carta Ancestry (2011), calls the mother simply Elizabeth (not Mary Elizabeth), and spells her maiden name Parry. Vol. III, page 123iii. (information from April Dellinger, November 18, 2014)

Parry-481 and Parry-156 appear to represent the same person because: These two profiles appear to be for the same person. This is in regard to a current merge, and needs to be completed to help seal the merge. Thank you, lcr
I rejected the match with Parry-481 for now because of the parents & birth (year and place). However, her children appear to belong to Elizabeth (and Mary is not, apparently, incorrect: see the Batte of Oakwell resources page: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Batte_of_Oakwell_resources (specifically the section on Widow Mary (Parry) Batte)
update: Nov. 29, 2014 - merge completed with father as Roger Parry (if WikiTree has a profile for her mother Mary Crosley, I didn't find it), notes left on previously attached parents' profiles (John and Mary - see here for details).
update: only differences between Parry-156 and Parry-219 were the parents & the birth year (1582/1588). Because of this and other attached profiles (all belonging to the wife of Robert Batte), the profiles were merged and notes left on John and Mary's profiles.
Seems we have two different people thought to be the wife of Rev. Robert Batte, one a daughter of John Parry & one a daughter of Rev. Roger Parry. (which is why Parry-156 and Parry-219 are a rejected match)
found that reference (see below). Richardson's Magna Carta Ancestry says that Elizabeth (2nd wife of Rev. Robert Batte) was the daughter of Rev. Roger Parry ... another reference (Southern Roots, by Billy Pittard) has Rev. Robert Batte & Elizabeth Parry marriage date as Feb. 7, 1603/4 & Elizabeth born 1582. These dates work... although this profile for "Mary Elizabeth" is b 1588 to John Parry. Maybe Mary Elizabeth is a cousin?
A post to my page in response to a proposed merge of duplicate profiles for son John said that merge needs to wait until his mother's name is decided (Perry or Parry) and provided the following information for consideration: If it helps any, Douglas Richardson in Magna Carta Ancestry (2011), calls the mother simply Elizabeth (not Mary Elizabeth), and spells her maiden name Parry. Vol. III, page 123iii.
Do you have any objection to having Perry become Parry?
