Eunice Gardner was born in 1729, the daughter of Thomas Gardner and Eunice Waters of Salem, Essex, Massachusetts[1]
On 17 June 1748, Eunice married Jeremiah Allen, the son of Jeremiah Allen and Lydia Tuck of Manchester, Essex, Massachusetts[2], and they had children, including:
Jeremiah, born April 6, 1749[3], who married Hannah Ring, daughter of George Ring on January 14, 1773[4]
Eunice, born April 27, 1751[5], who married David Pearl[4]
Abigail, born July 23, 1753[6], who married Comfort Haley, son of Ebenezer on July 21, 1777[4]
James, born December 7, 1755[3], who married Margaret Morrison on May 6, 1784[4]
Daniel, born March 15, 1758[7], who married Lois Barker, daughter of Phineas on March 5, 1780[4]
Oliver, born May 3, 1760[8], who died February 1765[9][4]
Nathaniel, who was baptized September 28,1763[10], who married Sarah Robbins daughter of James on February 28, 1782, and who died December 27, 1843[4]
Susanna, who married Seth Tinkham son of Edward[4]
In 1766 Jeremiah Allen moved his family from Massachusetts to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia[4]
