Biography
- Joseph Bulkeley was born in 1648. He is the Son of Thomas Bulkeley (1617-1658) and Sarah Jones (1620-1683).
- Married Martha Beers in 1681, Fairfield, Connecticut.
- Children of Joseph and Martha are: Joseph, Peter, Daniel, Thomas, Sarah, Gershom, and John.
His inventory was taken on 11 January 1719/20 and recorded at Fairfield. He died intestate and his son Joseph was administrator of the estate. The order the distribution to be 1/3 to the widow, and the rest divided between the five sons, Joseph, Peter, Daniel, Thomas, and John and one daughter, Sarah.[1]

Bulkeley-509 and Bulkeley-344 appear to represent the same person because: I believe these are the same individuals. per The Bulkeley Genealogy p. 113 Thomas & Sarah only had 5 children.
