Biography

Timothy Noyes, the son of TImothy Noyes and Mary (Knight) Noyes, was born in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts on January 2, 1690/1.^[1][2]

Timothy married Lydia Plummer in Newbury on March 18, 1718.^[3][2]

Timothy and Lydia had the following children:

1. Sylvanus, b. February 24, 1719,^[4][2] m. 1741 Phebe Chase^[2]
2. Ebenezer, b. May 3, 1725,^[5][2] m. 1st 1747 Elizabeth Greenleaf,^[2] m. 2d 1788 Rebecca Burrill^[2]
3. Oliver, b. December 20, 1727^[6][2]

After Lydia's death, Timothy married Sarah Richards in Newbury on June 9, 1735.^[3][2]

Timothy and Sarah had the following children:

1. Benjamin, b. April 7, 1736, m. 1761 Tamsen Greenfield
2. James, b. May 7, 1738, m. 1761 Jane Noyes, d. 1790
3. John, b. 1740
4. Timothy, b. November 8, 1745, m. Mary Noyes, d. 1784^[2]

Timothy Noyes died in Plaistow, Rockingham County, New Hampshire on November 8, 1745.^[7] He is buried in the Haverhill Cemetary in Haverhill, Grafton County, New Hampshire.^[8]
