Biography
John was born in 1798. John Dexter ... the son of Richard and Martha Dexter
Many family trees have their marriage in Columbus, Lowndes County, Mississippi; however, Lowndes was not created until January 30, 1830 and was created from southern Monroe County. Based on this history, they would have married in Monroe County.
John died in Chickasaw County, Mississippi but was buried at Dexter Cemetery, Montpelier, Clay County, Mississippi.
