Biography

Frances Allerton was the daughter of Isaac Allerton Jr. and his second wife Elizabeth Willoughby widow of Simon Overzee and George Colcough.[1]

Frances Allerton married Samuel Travers on 1 Jul 1685, Northern Neck of Virginia. [2]

Frances and Samuel had the following children:

  • Elizabeth (Travers) Tarpley, born about 1688
  • Rebecca (Travers) Colston
  • Winifred (Travers) Hornby
  • Frances Travers
