Biography

Charles was was an English brewer, philanthropist, writer and member of Parliament.

Birth

Charles was born in Cobham, Surrey on 18 November 1823 to Thomas Buxton and Hannah Gurney.^[1]

Marriage

On 7 February 1850, he married Emily Mary Holland, with whom he had 6 children.^[2]

Death

He died on the 10th of August in 1871.
