Biography

Joseph Cole was born in Eastham, Plymouth Colony on 11 June 1677, the son of John and Ruth (Snow) Cole.[1]

He married three times. Joseph married, first, Elizabeth Cobb on 04 February 1701/2 at Eastham.[1][2] They had 6 children together.[2][3]

Joseph married a second time to Mercy Hinckley on 06 October 1715,[1] and together they had three children: [3]

His third wife was Rebecca (Young) Harding, whom he married in Eastham on 25 November 1747. She was the daughter of David and Ann (Doane) Young, born Eastham 14 October 1689. She probably died in Eastham before 25 February 1764. Her first marriage was to Abiah Harding on 24 September 1713 in Eastham.[1]
