Also I am aware of zero evidence to support the idea that the father John Stroeher (Strayer) was Hans Adam Strayer. This is probably just a wild guess by someone who assumed a father-son relationship between these two men based on nothing more than that they both came to Pennsylvania at or about the same time

There is a huge discrepancy between the date and place of death shown in the vitals as compared with the information in the second line of the biography. The [Han] Adam Strayer [Stroeher] who died in York County, Pa. ca. 1775 could not possibly have died some fifty years earlier as a teenager in Germany.
