Judith was a Friend (Quaker)

Great-Grandmother of Susan B. Anthony

Judith Hicks was born 22d 1mo 1744 [22 Mar 1745] at Dartmouth, Massachusetts.[1][2] She was the daughter of Thomas and Judith Hicks of Dartmouth.[3]

She married David Anthony, son of William and Alice of Dartmouth, on 22d 10m 1767.[3]

Judith was noted as a member of the Easton monthly meeting, residing at East Hoosok circa 1778.[4] Also noted are her husband David and children Elihu, Humphrey, Susannah, Hannah, Comfort, and John.[4]

She died 14d 1mo 1818 [14 Jan 1818].[1]
