Sarah Dwight was born on June 17, 1638 in Dedham, Suffolk, Massachusetts Bay Colony, daughter of John Dwight (<1599–1661) and Hannah Unknown (1604–1656).

Sarah (19) married Nathaniel Reynolds (32) (born before April 10, 1625 in Isleworth, Middlesex, England; son of Robert Reynolds and Mary (Curver) Reynolds) on December 30, 1657 in Boston, Suffolk. Their known children were:
