Biography

STRUNK, ADA PEARL COFFEY 3 Sep 1978 Ada Pearl Strunk, age 80, of Huntsville, passed away at the Scott County Hospital, Sept. 3, 1978. She was the daughter of the late Lewis Coffey and the late Armanda Litton Strunk. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Shelby Strunk; one son: Howard Strunk, one daughter: Mable Keeton, two brothers and three sisters. A member of the First Baptist Church in Huntsville. Survivors: two daughters: Mrs. Lana Sexton, Huntsville, and Mrs. Ruby Soloman, Cincinnati, Ohio; two sons: Ernest Lee Buttram, Huntsville and Harold Strunk, Knoxville, one sister, Hattie Flinchum, Oneida; 23 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted from the White Rock Baptist Church, 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, with Rev. Dale Smith officiating.
