  6. Mother: Hattie Segar. Source: Marriage record. [5]
  7. Despite information sources on Cullingwoods' records, it is possible that Harriet Stow is not his natural mother. Harriet married Neal McLean in 1860, and her surname on these records is Stowe. On the Maine 1860 US Census, there are two Stowe children listed, in addition to the Walker child, plus Harriet and Neal. The two Stowe children were born in England. These facts point to Harriet Unknown LNAB married a man surname of Stowe, in England. He died in England or USA, Harriet came to USA with her two kids, somehow got custody of the Walker child, and then married McLean in 1860. If her maiden name was Stowe, then why would her two children have a surname of Stowe? Did not find any Maine marriage records between Walker-Stowe in 1850-1860 period. It would be helpful to see a birth record for Walker, to establish actual birth year and also the birth parents. Priest-412 21:58, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
