Biography

Ephraim was born in 1695, the son of Ephraim & Judith (Woodbury) Herrick. His parents had moved to Preston in 1694 from Beverly, Mass.

Ephraim married Rachel Fellows in 1719 in Preston, Conn. They had at least 3 children; Nathan, Ephraim & Phineas.

Ephraim died in 1754 and is buried in Leonard Cemetery, Griswold, Connecticut.

Probate

His will is dated 16 October 1754 and proved on 19 November 1754 in Norwich. He mentions his wife Rachel, his sons, Isaac, Andrew, Nathan, Elijah, Ephraim, and Phineas, and his daughters, Abigail Leonard, Rachel Herrick, and Esther HerrickHis inventory was completed on 30 January 1755 in Preston.^[1]
