Biography

Barbara Meredyth was the daughter of Sir Joshua Colles Meredyth, 8th Bt. and Maria Nugent.

She married, firstly, Eyre Tilson Coote, 3rd Baron Castle Coote, son of Charles Henry Coote, 2nd Baron Castle Coote and Elizabeth Anne Tilson, in May 1821:^[1]

Barbara Leeson, Dowager Countess of Milltown, died on 14 February 1874 at 10 DeVesci terrace, Kingstown, Co Dublin, widow of nobleman, aged 72 yrs. ^[2]

Letters of administration with the will annexed, of the personal estate of Barbara Dowager Countess of Milltown, late of 10 DeVesci terrace, Kingstown, Co Dublin, who died 14 Feb 1874 at same place, granted 18 Mar 1874 at the principal registry to Hon Henry Leeson of Dublin Castle, the Son, the sole residuary legatee. Effects under £ 4,000. ^[3]
