Biography

Sir Thomas Burdett, 1st Bt. was born on 3 August 1585.^[1] He was the son of Robert Burdett and Mary Wilson.^[1] He married Jane Francis, daughter of William Francis and Elizabeth Francis, in 1602.^[1] He died circa 1647.^[1] He was buried at Repton, Derbyshire, England.^[1] His will was proven (by probate) on 22 May 1647.^[1]

His daughters Dorothy, Jane and Mary were named in the will of his cousin Henry Curzon (abt.1560-1639).^[2]
