John Walsh is an American TV presenter and activist for criminal victim's rights.
John Edward Walsh, Jr. was born on 26 Dec 1945 in Auburn, Cayuga County, New York, USA and was the son of (Mary) Jean (Callahan, 1923–1999) and John Edward "Adam" Walsh, Sr. (1921-1976).
He married in July 1971. After college, they settled in south Florida, where he became involved in building high-end luxury hotels.
On 27 July 1981, his 6 year old son, Adam was abducted from a Sears department store. Adam was found dead 16 days after the abduction.
